Dean Tim, in conjunction with the Parish Engagement Committee, is eager to initiate a new pastoral care initiative, The Cathedral Community Freezer.
This initiative involves periodically filling a freezer with pre-cooked meals to be given to parishioners in need, i.e. after a surgery, a serious illness, or any other trying circumstance. We are planning a crew of four or five people to cook a large selection of meals which can be frozen and put aside for these situations. The cooking evenings would be on a Wednesday from 4 pm to about 8 pm, perhaps four or five times per year.
