Our 150th Anniversary Celebratory Eucharist ServiceMessage from the Dean “As we take a moment to breathe after last Sunday’s 150th Anniversary service, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you. What we experienced together as a Cathedral family was something truly special. Milestone moments like this remind us that a cathedral is not defined only by its walls or its history, but also by the people who nurture its life with grace, dedication and team spirit. I was so appreciative of the professionalism, cooperation and goodwill you each brought to this shared effort. With deep gratitude,

Maturing into the Fullness of ChristA Lenten Series |
|
Ash WednesdayWednesday, February 18, 2026 Ash Wednesday marks the start of the 40-day Lenten season–a time in which we are called to prayer, fasting, and repentance before celebrating Easter. During the Ash Wednesday service, the priest makes the sign of the cross with ashes on a congregant's forehead. The ashes are made by burning palm branches from the previous year's Palm Sunday. |

The Litany of ReconciliationPlease join us in the Cathedral. Fridays 12:15 -12:30 pm As a member of the Community of the Cross of Nails, we gather weekly at noon on Fridays to pray for peace, justice, and reconciliation. We start our prayer with: We stand together at this Friday noon hour to join with all those churches, schools, and other institutions who have committed themselves to the Community of the Cross of Nails. We search for reconciliation between ourselves and all those who have been harmed by war, by violence, by the effects of colonization and abuses of power, and by greed, selfishness, thoughtlessness and indifference. Please click on Litany of Reconciliation for the prayer in its entirety. A brief history of the Litany of Reconciliation can be found on The Anglican Diocese of Ontario website.

A Question to Consider!Simple Monthly Actions from Climate Justice Cathedral February's ActionJames Gustave Speth (born March 4, 1942) is an American environmental lawyer and advocate. He says: "I used to think the top global environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse, and climate change. I thought that with 30 years of good science, we could address these problems. But I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed, and apathy, and to deal with these we need a spiritual and cultural transformation, and we scientists don't know how to do that."
