December 1st is World AIDS Day, and the Positive Health Network is proud to continue our annual tradition of holding a vigil service in collaboration with Christ’s Church Cathedral to honour the people in our communities living with HIV/AIDS and to memorialize those we have lost.

This annual event serves as an important reminder that we must remain steadfast in our commitment to prevent new HIV infections and provide essential services to all people living with HIV globally. In 2025, we will commemorate the 37th World AIDS Day with the theme, “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response

It will be an important opportunity to highlight the impact that the funding cuts from international donors have had on the response to AIDS as well as to showcase the resilience of countries and communities stepping up to protect the gains made and drive the HIV response forward.
