Since May 2000, the Diocese of Niagara has invited parishes to nominate a person from their parish annually, who has given of themselves to the parish, the diocese, and the Church. The Bishop of the Diocese also nominates people to the Order of Niagara. It is a way of honouring the laity and the their ministry within the diocese.
On November 17, Bishop Susan Bell will install this year's nominees from Brock, Hamilton-Haldimand, and Lincoln to the Order of Niagara at a special service held at the Cathedral.
On November 24, nominees from Greater Wellington and Trafalgar regions will also be installed by the Bishop at a special service at the Cathedral.
Congratulations to all the recipients!
