Celebrate the Transitus of Saint Francis in this beautiful, unique service.
Note: Transitus is the annual celebration by Franciscans throughout the world of the passing of St. Francis from this life to life with God. It is celebrated the night of October 3, the eve of his feast day. The word “transitus” comes from the Latin, meaning passage or crossing. Quote is from the Conventual Fransican Friars website.
This service is the first of a 3-part series presented jointly by the Anglican churches in downtown Hamilton. The next two offerings will be in 2025.
