April 22 is Earth Day. The theme for 2025 is OUR POWER, OUR PLANET, inviting everyone around the globe to unite behind renewable energy and to triple the global generation of clean electricity by 2030.
Climate Justice Niagara is inviting you to set aside 90 minutes on the evening of April 22nd, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., to hear from some inspiring speakers to move us all toward that goal as individuals, as parishes, and other organizations to which we belong. We have three strong and proven environmental advocates to learn from, including Giuliana Casimirri, the executive director of Green Venture; Deb Schulte a member of Stop413; and a message from Catherine McKenna, chair of the UN’s High-Level Expert Group on Net-Zero Commitments.
