As part of the liturgy for the Easter Vigil, and at every Baptism, we are called to renew our baptismal covenant including the question:
"Will you strive to safeguard the integrity of God's creation, and respect, sustain and renew the life of the Earth?" Our response is "I will, with God's help."
CJC 's Action of the Month helps us live out this promise by encouraging us to pray, become informed, speak out about climate breakdown, and reduce our carbon footprint. We can reduce food waste, drive less, buy less, save energy at home, plant trees and native species, and support environmental groups.
