It is easy to become overwhelmed by the Climate Crisis. The problem is global, the science is frightening, and the politics is discouraging. It is easy to ask, what difference can I make?
But listen to the words of Jesus from Matthew 11:
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me… for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
So, bring your fears, anger, frustration, and your disappointment. Let Jesus carry what you cannot carry alone.
Perhaps our task is not to save the planet, but to care for the part of creation entrusted to us. Perhaps the question is not, what should I do? Perhaps there are three questions:
