The Cathedral's own Lori-Lyn Bradley received the Order of Niagara on Sunday, Nov. 12 at the Cathedral together with other nominees from Brock, Lincoln, and Hamilton-Haldimand.
Since arriving at the Cathedral from a previous role as a Sunday School leader in the former Anglican parish of St. Peter’s, Hamilton, Lori-Lyn has served in formal leadership positions within the Cathedral and in many informal roles as well. She served capably as a Warden, co-led the St. Bede Team, and has been a server, a thoughtful and eloquent intercessor, a lector, a greeter, a baker for Cathedral Café and Sunday coffee hours, and a cheerful regular pourer of coffee. She excels at hospitality, and has co-hosted many Cathedral events including our first post-pandemic Newcomers’ Lunch, and informally, many events in her home to make parishioners welcome and strengthen parish community spirit. In her characteristic unassuming way, Lori-Lyn maintains a personal ministry of prayer support for all who are in any need or distress.
Thank you, Lori-Lyn, for all you've contributed and continue to contribute to Christ's Church Cathedral. And congratulations to all the recipients!
