PWRDF has chosen a new name: Alongside Hope (in French, Auprès de l’espoir).
In 2022, a diverse team of staff, board members, and volunteers began the process of selecting a name that better reflects PWRDF’s work and mission. Through their discussions, a central theme emerged – the importance of partnerships. PWRDF walks alongside its partners, including the Anglican Church of Canada, local and membership organizations, funding agencies, volunteers, and donors.
The new name, Alongside Hope, symbolizes this ongoing journey of support, listening, and shared hope for a better world.
Please note that website and social media updates will begin on March 1, 2025, allowing PWRDF to finish 2024 tax receipts under the PWRDF name.
