This event has already occurred
Since May 2000, the Diocese of Niagara has invited parishes to nominate a person from their parish annually, who has given of themselves to the parish, the diocese, and the Church. The Bishop of the Diocese also nominates people to the Order of Niagara. It is a way of honouring the laity and the their ministry in the diocese.
On October 30, Bishop Susan Bell will install this year's nominees from Hamilton-Haldimand and Brock & Lincoln to the Order of Niagara at a special service held at the Cathedral.
Congratulations to Pat Barton, the Cathedral's 2022 recipient, and to all recipients from the parishes in Hamilton-Haldimand and Brock & Lincoln.
