Centering Prayer is a practice of contemplative silence. Its purpose is to to develop comfort and ease with reaching inward, listening to heart, opening to spirit. It has been taught by the Benedictine monk Thomas Keating over the past 30 years as a way of claiming of our own centuries-old Christian traditions of meditation and contemplation. A group has met at the Cathedral to learn and to pray together since 2016, with days and times changing through the year. Contact Dale Guenter for more information dguenter@gmail.com
