Order of Service

Welcome to our observance of the Paschal Triduum. In it we celebrate the high point of our Christian year. In it we remember and re-enact Christ’s passion and resurrection.
The Triduum (a Latin word meaning ‘a period of three days’) can be thought of as a single act of worship divided into three parts.
We begin with a celebration of the Eucharist and the Washing of Feet on Maundy Thursday; we continue with the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion on Good Friday; and we reach the high point of our celebration at the Great Vigil of Easter on Holy Saturday.

If you are attending in person, please leave your bulletin the basket in the narthex or bring it with you when you return for the remainder of the liturgy.

At this time of our church year, a great army of people do an incredible amount of work so that our premises and our Holy Week services may be what they are. Heartfelt thanks go to Bishop Susan, the Cathedral Clergy and Honorary Assistants, the Cathedral Choir and Director of Music Ministries, Liturgical Team members and leaders, Servers, Verger, Audio/Visual Team, Altar Guild, Flowers Coordinator, Lay Weeders, Brass Monkeys and Woodchucks, Property Management Team, Generosity Team and of course the Corporation. We are blessed by your dedication and service.
