Cathedral Oasis with LabyrinthAn Open Time for Peace and Reflection 1st Sunday of every Month 12:30pm-2pm We have added an exciting element for folks that visit: a walking labyrinth! We have a seven-circuit Chartres-style canvas labyrinth for all summer use at Cathedral Oasis. It is 24 feet across! Come and explore. The labyrinth offers an accessible meditative experience through an interactive representation of the twists and turns of life, with God always at the centre, drawing us closer and closer. Our doors are open one Sunday per month for anyone to drop in for peace and reflection in the middle of our busy city. Feel free to light a candle, say a prayer, or just sit quietly in this beautiful space. Maybe you have never been in the Cathedral and just want to have a look around? Maybe you would just like to listen to some quiet, peaceful music? Whoever you are, whatever brings you to our doors, you are very welcome. If you have any questions during your visit, there is someone on hand from our Cathedral Community. For level access please go to the reception door to the left of the main Cathedral entrances. Please contact the Cathedral Office if you have any questions. |

The leaflet provided to attendees includes the words and tunes to all the chants as well as the liturgical outline of the rest of the service, so it is very accessible to anyone. The Litany of ReconciliationPlease join us. Fridays 12:15 -12:30 pm As a member of the Community of the Cross of Nails, we gather weekly at noon on Fridays to pray for peace, justice, and reconciliation. We start our prayer with: We stand together at this Friday noon hour to join with all those churches, schools, and other institutions who have committed themselves to the Community of the Cross of Nails. We search for reconciliation between ourselves and all those who have been harmed by war, by violence, by the effects of colonization and abuses of power, and by greed, selfishness, thoughtlessness and indifference. Please click on Litany of Reconciliation for the prayer in its entirety. A brief history of the Litany of Reconciliation can be found on The Anglican Diocese of Ontario website. |

Led by a practitioner engaged in starting and nurturing Forest Church communities, we’ll explore how to begin, the theological grounding for worship in nature, and the practicalities of gathering people who are curious, spiritual, and concerned about the planet. Whether you’re dreaming of starting something new or simply curious about how the Spirit is moving beyond the church building, come and be inspired to root your mission in the wild wisdom of God’s creation." *Image and Text above are provided by The Anglican Diocese of NiagaraFor complete details, please visitRooted in the Wild: Forest Church and the Mission of God in Nature. The price for workshop admission is $10. Alongside HopeWild Ride Nurse Latia has strong teeth. Delivering an average of 198 babies a month at a birthing clinic in rural Mozambique, she often held her cell phone between her teeth so it would cast a light on her patient. Babies are more often born at night and her clinic – like many – was not equipped with electricity for proper lighting. As part of the All Mothers and Children Count project, PWRDF and its Mozambican partner EHALE installed 30 solar suitcases at government-run health facilities in 2017. We are now raising money for 49 more. Half of our goal has been reached. Just one last push before October 1st, when all donations are being matched by a generous donor. Thank you to everyone who participated or supported our Wild Ride. We had a lovely day and a small but enthusiastic turnout. |

Climate Justice CathedralClosing Thoughts As the 2025 Season of Creation (Sept. 1–Oct. 4) draws to a close, we hope this global celebration uniting Christians of every tradition in prayer, reflection, and action for God’s creation has touched your heart. It is easy to feel discouraged about the climate crisis, or cynical about the promises of politicians and governments. That is why, over the past three weeks, CJC has shared what our own municipal leaders are doing to confront climate breakdown. But they cannot do it alone. Each of us has a role to play and every step makes a difference. What will you do?
