Yours are the feet...
Yours are the feet with which Christ walks to do good, Sunday, April 14, marks the beginning of Canada's National Volunteer Week, and Christ's Church Cathedral will celebrate the ministries of its many valued volunteers at the 10:30 service. Many of us understand participation at church as be an important part of our discipleship journey, and so we give our time and skills faithfully to support the Cathedral's worship, programs, and services. If you sing in the choir, garden in Bishopsgate, knit prayer shawls, offer hospitality after the service, sit on a committee, work in the Cathedral Café, serve at the altar, contribute food for hospitality, act as a greeter on Sundays or at Art Crawl, distribute communion, are an Altar Guild member, count the collection, read the lesson, prepare intercessions or do any of the many other things that make Christ's Church Cathedral the wonderful community that it is, this service is to celebrate YOU! Please join us. |

PWRDF - Famine Risk in Gaza!
Prayers are requested for the Anglican run Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. Unfortunately, aid air drops have damaged the hospital’s solar panels and their power capacity. Hundreds of desperate people then entered the hospital taking the aid so that the hospital received nothing. Read the Archbishop of Canterbury's statement on this situation in Gaza here. Thanks, as always, for your continued support of PWRDF and its partners. For more information on ways to support PWRDF, please visit the Donations page of their website or contact your Parish PWRDF Representative at louise.vanwoelderen@gmail.com or 905-387-1820.
