In our Community and Partners Prayer Cycle we pray for Hamilton Community Legal Clinic https://hamiltonjustice.ca/en/ In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer we pray for the church of the Church of South India (United). In the Anglican Church of Canada and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada we pray for the members of the Anglican Council of General Synod and the members of the Evangelical National Church Council. In our Diocese of Niagara we pray for our Bishop Susan Bell; Christ’s Church Cathedral, Hamilton, the Very Reverend Dr. Tim Dobbin, Rector and Dean of Niagara; the Reverend Monica Green, Assistant Curate; the Right Reverend David Ralph Spence, Pastoral Assistant; the Reverend Dr. Eric Griffin, Honorary Assistant; the Reverend Canon Dr. Sharyn Hall, Honorary Assistant; the Reverend Canon J. Lefebvre, Honorary Assistant; the Venerable Lynne Marchant, Honorary Assistant; the Reverend Canon William Thomas, Honorary Assistant, and the people of this parish. As a Community we pray for the victims of war, terrorism and criminal violence. Remembrance Sunday November 10, 2024
On Remembrance Sunday there will be displayed, at the back of the church, five Active Service Roll albums detailing the men and women from Hamilton who served in the Canadian Armed Forces during WWI and WWII.

Order of NiagaraSunday, November 17, 2024 Since May 2000, the Diocese of Niagara has invited parishes to nominate a person from their parish annually, who has given of themselves to the parish, the diocese, and the Church. The Bishop of the Diocese also nominates people to the Order of Niagara. It is a way of honouring the laity and the their ministry within the diocese. On November 17, Bishop Susan Bell will install this year's nominees from Brock, Hamilton-Haldimand, and Lincoln to the Order of Niagara at a special service held at the Cathedral. On November 24, nominees from Greater Wellington and Trafalgar regions will also be installed by the Bishop at a special service at the Cathedral. Congratulations to all the recipients! There is no cost for the vaccines. For more than 200 years, vaccines have been saving lives around the world. WANTED!Lightly used winter clothing!The Cathedral thanks all those who so generously donated summer clothing to our Café guests. Summer is now over and we are looking ahead to another Canadian winter. As you know, many of our guests are unhoused or precariously housed. The coming of winter presents the added challenge of how to keep warm and survive another Canadian winter. We humbly ask for your help once again to donate your lightly used winter clothing. The Cathedral Café is looking for the following: Winter coats/Track Pants/T-shirts/Sweatshirts/Sweaters/Socks/Sports bras/Running shoes/Winter boots/Backpacks/Toques/Gloves The Cafe is also looking for any unwanted large mugs and board games such as scrabble, chess, backgammon etc. Please connect with Turner or Kerry who will ensure these gifts go to our Cathedral Café guests.
