Safeguard the Integrity of God's CreationApril's Action for Climate Justice Cathedral As part of the liturgy for the Easter Vigil, and at every Baptism, we are called to renew our baptismal covenant including the question: "Will you strive to safeguard the integrity of God's creation, and respect, sustain and renew the life of the Earth?" Our response is "I will, with God's help." CJC 's Action of the Month helps us live out this promise by encouraging us to pray, become informed, speak out about climate breakdown, and reduce our carbon footprint. We can reduce food waste, drive less, buy less, save energy at home, plant trees and native species, and support environmental groups. That’s our role and responsibility as stewards of creation. Let’s tell our friends and colleagues! *Image provided by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay |

Generosity Morsel April 2026
What are your gifts? What do you have in abundance? And how can you give that into the world (maybe even into our church) willingly, and with joy? Each of us have situations that really matter to us, that tug at our hearts. When we offer our gifts into these situations, we live from abundance thinking. And our giving helps us to spreads our love and inspires others to do the same. Keep your eyes and ears open in Christ’s Church Cathedral. People in this congregation are giving their gifts freely every day, usually so quietly, and in ways that create even more abundance, inspiration and relationship. We encourage you to notice, and maybe start a list of ways you can see this happening. Thank you, thank you, for all that you give to this community. |
