Weather Warning & Cathedral Services Today February 18, 2026

Ash Wednesday Service

Christ's Church Cathedral is open today for Ash Wednesday service 11:30am and 7pm

Although Christ's Church Cathedral is open today for our Ash Wednesday services at 11:30am and 7pm the general policy emphasizes personal safety.
 
We hope to send out a link to watch the 11:30am service online through Youtube with a link to the Order of Service soon. 
 
Please note that the Ministry Team are mainly interested in your personal safety during bad weather. 
  • Personal Judgment: No event, including Church services, requires attendance if weather conditions are dangerous. Parishioners are not to feel obliged to attend our services if they feel unsafe traveling.
    For specific closure announcements please check the website on the day of the event.
  • Cancellations:  Church services will not ordinarily be cancelled. In exceptional cases (extreme weather, power outages, facility issues).
