Weekly Prayer Cycle
In our Parish Cycle of Prayer we pray for Kerry and Michael Lubrick; Peter Macdonald; Theo and Evelynn Macgilliavry; Lynne Marchant and Rick Williams. In our Community and Partners Prayer Cycle we pray for Trinity Lutheran Church. In the Anglican Cycle of Prayer we pray for the Church of Bangladesh. In the Anglican Church of Canada and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada we pray for The Most Rev. Anne Germond, Bishop, the Most Rev. Fred Hiltz, Assisting Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Victoria Matthews, Episcopal Administrator, and the clergy and people of the Anglican Diocese of Moosonee; and the congregations of the Winnipeg area of the Lutheran Manitoba-Northwestern Ontario Synod. In our Diocese of Niagara we pray for our Bishop, The Right Reverend Dr. Susan Bell; and for Christ Church, Flamborough, The Reverend Naomi Kabuki, Rector; and the honorary assistants and people of that parish. As a Community we pray for those who are developmentally and physically challenged. Bishop Terry Brown (1944-2024)
Bishop Terry’s Celebration of Life will take place at Christ’s Church Cathedral on Friday May 3 at 1:00pm with visitation from 12:00, followed by refreshments served in the Narthex. We continue to give thanks for his life and witness and to hold his family and friends in prayer. |
RSCM Choral EvensongSunday May 5 at 4:00pm The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) has organized a celebration of Choral Evensong to be held at the Cathedral next Sunday afternoon May 5 at 4:00pm, featuring a large choir drawn from a number of parishes in the region. All are most welcome. Refreshments will be available after the service. |
