VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Cathedral is currently looking for volunteers to learn how to manage our sound board and live stream function on Sunday mornings. Candidates for this ministry are people who work well as part of a team, are familiar with the Sunday liturgy (in order to direct the cameras to the correction location), have reasonable computer skills, and would enjoy acquiring new tech skills. Specific duties involve connecting to the Cathedral's Youtube link, turning mikes on and off as the service proceeds, and directing the cameras. Training and checklists for ongoing Sunday use will be provided. When scheduled, volunteers will need to be at church about 45 minutes before the service to check the equipment and mikes, and stay about 15 minutes after. The benefits of this ministry are many: facilitating access to CCC's Sunday liturgy for those who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend, the chance to connect with new people, and the opportunity to learn some new tech skills. If you'd like to shadow tech volunteer coordinator Gen over the next couple of weeks to see what's involved before making a commitment, please email or call warden Elizabeth Wensley as soon as possible (eawensley@gmail.com, or 905-807-2596). |

DIGGING DEEPER
Did the homily stir up anything in you? Are there questions you'd like to explore about the readings? Do you have a burning desire to have someone awkwardly attempt to explain Greek verb tenses to you based on six seconds of quick research? Then come join us in the Living Room after the second service each Sunday around 12:15pm! We continue to talk each week about what strikes us from the homily and the scripture readings and do our best to explore the connections to our lives. We'd love to have you contribute your thoughts to the conversation. |

Masks Strongly Recommended
Current guidelines encourage mask wearing, particularly in crowded, enclosed, and close-contact settings. Effective immediately, Bishop Susan is strengthening guidance to mirror the chief medical officer of health's strong recommendation that masks be worn in indoor settings. By doing so, and applying additional layers of protection, we will not only protect ourselves but our most vulnerable neighbours. In this way, we are also bearing strong witness to God's call to love our neighbours. |

A PRAYER FOR THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER AND CLIMATE JUSTICE SUNDAY
O God, your Son remained with his disciples after his resurrection, teaching them to love all people as neighbors. As his disciples in this age, we offer our prayers on behalf of the universe in which we are privileged to live and our neighbors with whom we share it.
