SPECIAL CHRISTMAS GIFT

SPECIAL CHRISTMAS GIFT

If you are on the parish mailing list, you will have received a letter via email or Canada Post from Dean Tim asking you to consider a special Christmas gift to Christ's Church Cathedral this year.  The response to his letter has been wonderful - warmest thanks to all who have given to date.  If you haven't had a chance to do so already, please consider if you might make a gift today in support of the Cathedral's mission and ministries in Hamilton's downtown core.  In this time of concern about the COVID Omicron variant, please also consider using our fast and secure on-line donation options, available here.  Remember that in order to receive a 2021 tax receipt, the Cathedral must receive your gift by December 31.

PWRDF

Blessings at Christmas and for 2022

During 2021, PWRDF and its partners have worked together for a better world.  A world where all may live with food, water, shelter, equality, and a cared for environment.  They have striven for goals that will sustain humanity and our planet.   Thank you to everyone in our parish who has supported PWRDF and its partners in these initiatives.

May you have the gift of faith, the blessing of hope and the peace of His love at Christmas and always.

Your PWRDF Parish Representative Louise van Woelderen

A NOTE OF THANKS

A NOTE OF THANKS

Thank you so much for the Christmas cards, gifts and well-wishes you have shared with us. We are so thankful for your kindness and generosity. We feel so blessed to be celebrating our first Christmas with you, even if it is virtual rather than in-person. We are also truly excited by the prospect of sharing the coming year(s) together.

A blessed, peace-filled and holy Christmastide to you all.

Love Felicity, Sophie, Lynn and Tim.

CAN YOU HELP?

Warm Clothing Appeal

As the weather turns colder we have identified a significant need in our community, warm winter clothing such as:  hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, socks, sweaters and coats (mens and womens).  Donations of these items can be made at the Cathedral Tuesday, December 28 to  Friday, December 31, from 11-2pm.  These items will then be distributed through the Cathedral's Hamilton Out of the Cold Program.

Thank you!
